Divorce Space!

tiny-house

Macy Miller is an architect from Idaho. After a divorce she lost her home to foreclosure and learnt that this expected normal was not a situation she ever wanted to be part of again. So she decided to build a home from scratch that fit her and one that the money spent for every screw and bolt would be accounted for.

She worked for two years on her compact, eco-friendly, highly efficient, portable 196 square foot home.

It cost her $11,000.

Mortgage free.

Macy did not have a lot of knowledge about construction and learnt as she built.

She did all the wiring herself.

During construction she fell off the roof and broke her back, healed and carried on.

The most expensive part of the house was the composting toilet which cost $2000.

Sweet as a nut!

The home is built on a flatbed so it can be moved anywhere.

Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California. But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.” “We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
