Inspire Notes:
This is such a welcoming vista. Plenty of soft furnishings and natural materials.
Notice the throws, the linen curtains and the interior tree.
This is quite a feminine bathroom with lots of storage for nic nacs and a charming rustic sink unit. We sourced a square shaped rattan chair and you will note that this is a winged backed one, but we went for integrity of design shape coupled with availability at the time of sourcing. You might also enjoy the similarly simple (albeit larger) grey framed mirror we have sourced.
This is the best room. It has all the attitude in one place. The lovely wood burner for extreme cosiness, the dandy look-at-me baroque sofa, exposed brick work, throws and cushions galore, candles…rather ravishing.

This is such a fresh breeze of a home isn’t it? This fresh breeziness is courtesy of the natural raw materials such as plentiful light wood, large glass windows to the world, the outside decking, the potted trees, exposed brick work and plenty of white.
That chunky rustic box coffee table really sets the style precedent in the living area along with the rugs and throws. They are saying; ‘This is an easy going house. Yes we like a certain style but we’re down with being relaxed and bringing nature outside inside.’
And so to achieve this home style that is the mindset you will need. Keep it simple. Keep it natural and easy going. There’s quite a bit of furniture upcycling with cushions, and throws rather than going out and buying new.
There isn’t tons of sharp contemporary accents in this home, (check out the 1980’s hi fi!), then there is the ever lovely wood burner. There is nothing pretentious or trying too hard here. It’s all about comfort, plants, animals, rugs, drapes, throws, nature, wood and freshness.
