Stefan Soderberg Home

Inspire Notes:

The home of Swedish designer Mr Stefan Soderberg boasts the clean lined calm and efficiency of Skandi chic.

Lots of mid century reference, lovely parquet flooring, white skin and the large, scene stealing fireplace.

The juxtaposition of the mid century pieces and the battered armchair is part of what forms the character of this charming space.

Swan Chairs, Wishbone Chairs and Grand Prix Chairs abound, offering a nice mixture of seating options. Much is made of the height of the space with the long drop pendants.

The skin of this place is simple. White, interrupted by the occasional interesting wall art, some not even hung. The dwellers are blessed with height, but they haven’t splattered tons of stuff everywhere to take up that space.

There are no rugs. The wooden floors are left to shine. Parquet flooring, straight planks and painted wood floors. The artwork has a co-starring role with the long drop pendant lights taking centre stage. It is a lovely spatial composition and we have found the key pieces for you to try this home style below.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” “Let freedom ring! Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California. But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.” “We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
